The foundation stone for the company was laid as early as 2013. The later founder Peter Matzanetz started with the idea of communicating empty spaces to new users by referring to the suitability of the surroundings. In 2018, the prototype for Vienna constituted the first fully functional technical implementation. Since 2019 the service has been available for all of Austria. The development work was carried out together with the Vienna University of Technology.
